Best Walker on the market-wont tip over!
I researched many walkers before purchasing this one. Its made from wood and metal and is incredible quality. Its so sturdy. My son is 28 pounds at 10 months old and for him learning to walk this is perfect. No matter how hard he pulls on it or falls while using it, it does not tip over. My son can crouch behind it and pull up to standing and it does not tip over. I think its because the handle is shaped in a way that directs any force downward to prevent any tipping. The wheels have a rubber tread on them that lets it go smoothly on carpet and slows it down on our hardwood and tile. My little boy pulled up on the handle and walked behind it (for the first time ever) the day we got it! He loves his little wagon and pushes it all over the house. We put his teddy and some blocks in there or a favorite book and he screeches with delight that hes pushing those things around. BTW the walker is great empty too...you dont have to weight it down at all like some of the plastic ones...

Excellent walker for the last generation and this
I purchased a similar Galt walker 18 years ago for my one year old son and his younger brother. Now, as I open a home child care service, I am delighted to see that it is still available with some new features such as the bent handle for even greater stability and the wheels are still rubberized for great traction and resistance. It was super sturdy before and is still! The new paint job is a bonus, too.
Broke upon assembly - but company redeemed itself
This was purchased for my daughter's first birthday. Upon screwing in the handle to the side board, the wood became stripped and the handle separated from the wood pulling off some paint and a layer of wood with it. Very disappointed. Amazon won't return it and sent an email to the toy Co. instead about replacement. The toy company only offered to send a new board, no word back yet about replacenment. So looks like we might need to take the thing apart, and reassemble it ourselves! We are thinking about donating it. It is useless to us in its current state. We wouldn't want our daughter to ingest any part of the wood or paint.
Our daughter does enjoy pushing it around the house though and it is so much more sturdy than the other toys she tries to use to push and walk around.
Since the above review was written the Original Toy Company surprised us by sending us a whole new walker (instead of just the broken board) to replace the first one. We have yet to assemble...
