The unique design of my early steps promotes a natural posture for baby (arms are used for balancing, which is key to maintaining balance while transitioning from one foot to the other), visual feedback related to each step (the view of baby's feet is unobstructed), and a natural posture for the adult (comfortably upright the adult benefits from not experiencing back pain in result of bending). The distinctive shell design of my early steps cradles baby's entire torso and ensures maximum stability. The lower part of the walker absorbs part of baby's weight and prevents the top part from gathering up under baby's arms during use. The wide leg openings allow free leg movement so that baby can gradually build up the upper muscle strength required for independent walking. The most unique feature of my early steps is the three-point fastening on the back. Situated close to the center of gravity of the baby it includes the lower point of attachment of the support straps. This is important because babies' center of gravity lies much higher than that of adults, making them top heavy; therefore positioning the point of attachment of the support straps close to the center of gravity affords maximum control for the adult and maximum support for the top heavy infant. The three-point fastening allows for adjustments for baby's chest circumference (or thicker outerwear) and makes it possible to create a snug fit. The support straps are easily removable and adjustable in length to accommodate adults of various heights. It is possible to let baby crawl without undue risk of entanglement if baby temporarily tires of walking - no need to remove the entire baby walker from baby, only the support straps. my early steps is recommended for use with infants who have demonstrated an ability to stand while supporting themselves against furniture or holding onto an adult's hand, have a minimum chest circumference of 19 inches, weigh less than 30 pounds, and are at least 8 months old.

Little Dundi Baby WalkerI saw our neighbors use one of these walkers with their baby daughter. She was clearly enjoying it, confidently 'leading' mom or dad to each and every corner of their outside patio. I instantly loved the idea and purchased the grey one for my nephew in Denver. He was 11 months old and could pull himself up to standing position, but hesitated to do anything beyond that. My brother and siter-in-law were thrilled about the gift! I just visited them and it looks like my nephew (now 1 year old) might be walking on his own within days.... The walker is made very well to fully support the child and the holding straps are long enough to afford full comfort for the adult (I am 6 ft. tall), without any loss of control. Certainly fun to use! Wish I had one a few years ago when my twins were learning to walk....
Saved my husband's backMy hubby is 6'3", so when our son was learning to walk the constant bending over to hold him up was really hard on my husband's back. I looked for a similar product to this one online last fall but ended up finding the little dundi at a children's boutique here in colorado. I am delighted to find this on amazon prime because I am shopping for a baby shower gift. What set the little dundi apart is the detachable straps which allowed us to keep the walker on our son when he needed a break--he crawled around in his squishy little "walking suit" comfortably and didn't seem to notice he was wearing it. Also, the quality is really good--the baby walker is made similar to my britax baby carrier, and as an added bonus it adds a little cushion to those early walking tumbles. Even though I am only 5'1" I ended up using this all of the time too--my son seemed so much happier in this than having his arms pulled up by mom!
Impressed!I purchased My Early Steps for my son. We are so happy after both my husband and I have been using it for a month now! Here is why: we had Walking wings three years ago when my daughter was learning to walk and found it useful, except for it rode up her chest a little bit and after a few washes, sort of shrunk and became misshapen. Not this one! It is made of poly/cotton fabric and maintains its shape and color (already been washed 5 times, my son is teething, so...!). It fits my son perfectly and the lower part of it stops it from riding up. In fact, it fits my son even over his winter jacket (the Velcro straps on the back can be adjusted). Definitely worth the price premium over similar, but in my view not as good parent assisted walkers. I love this product!
