Great for babies who can walk a few steps on their own
My 14-month-old son received this for his first birthday and it has been his favorite toy ever since.

He uses it indoors and outdoors. He pulls it, pushes it, pushes down on the handle to flip it up and look at the underside, plays with the controls, opens and closes the "gas cap", etc. He never tires of it. His latest game is to set a big ball on the "engine", and try to push the mower around without bumping the ball off.

IMPORTANT: This mower is great for babies who already can walk one or two steps on their own, or who can stand steadily on their own. It's not great for babies who need something to lean on in order to stand up or walk. If a baby leans or pulls up on the handle, they will not get the support they expect -- the handle will fall to the floor, taking them with it.

My son was walking about four or five steps on his own when he received this mower. His walking ability quickly skyrocketed after receiving it -- perhaps due to his strong...

Our carpet is the envy of the neighborhood!
My son received this mower (well actually, the red and black version, but it's the same toy) for his first birthday, because we thought he might be able to use it as a walker. He could not. The base is much too light for a learning walker to practice with, so stick with a regular walker for that. He learned to walk incredible quickly, though, and a few weeks after his birthday, he was running through the house, "mowing" the living room. It is still (6 months later) one of his favorite toys, and he plays with it every day.
my sons favorite!!
We bought this last year when my son was about 16 months old, he loved it then and loves it now!! He is quite good at sharing his toys, apart from this mower.

my friends have bought 'bubble mowers' for their children and have ended up buying this one because the others stop working after a while. It is a very durable, simple, inexpensive toy that children do not seem to tire of. Money well spent!!

Fun, safe first bike
I got this for my 2y/o old daughter and she loves it! It is stable enough for her to move and turn on her own and feel like she is 'riding' a bike. I like it because it is made for small kids and doesn't sit so high off the ground. The basket is cute and makes it easy for kids to carry things around and give rides to their favorite dolls. It was simple enough to put together and is pretty durable.

Ride-On Toy
I looked all over for a ride-on toy for my great-granddaughter who is only 1 and a half years old and nowhere could I find a ride-on without pedals or was not battery operated. When my children were small they had a little ride-on that they loved and wore out. This one I found at Amazon was the perfect item I wanted. She can ride it in or outside the home. It is excellent and with John Deere's name on it how could it be anything else. I was very happy to see it and get it so fast - as with all Amazon products - they are GREAT!GREAT!GREAT!. nice little ride
I bought this little bike for my not yet two year old granddaughter and she loves it. She takes her baby for rides on it. It glides good and seems to be a good size for her age..15 months.
She uses it in the house as well as out and has a cute helmet to wear when she is outdoors.

I think this toy is awesome!!!She sometimes gets a bit confused about where you want her to go but overall she's fun to play with. She can really move her legs so that amazed me but basically it's because of metal attraction. Her talking is cute but at some times wierd.This pony is my second most favorite toy.

Adorable!
My daughter got this for her 4th birthday and it was instantly a hit! The pony moves her little head from side to side, and moves around in her walker really good, on hardwood and carpeting. Voice is clear and understandable. Really a sweet little toy!!
I Love Sweet Steps
My Little Pony Walking Sweet Steps is a hit with my 5 year old. She likes that the pony is soft and cuddley. The pony/walker work wonderfully, the pony sounds are clear and pleasant, the walker works well on both hardwood and carpet and does not get stuck in corners or under things like other similar toys. It was a bit pricey but definitely a step up from Hasbro's other talking pony, Good Morning Sunshine.

Darling Doll
This doll is darling. My 3 year old received it last month for her birthday. It is amazing how it can stand, sit, and lay down all on it's own. It talks and walks. We have fun watching this doll do her thing. It was a hit at the birthday party when my daughter opened it. Everyone was laughing and having fun watching this doll. It does best on a solid surface floor such as wood and not too well on tile, since the cracks and bumps make it difficult for the doll to walk. Just one hint: Don't forget that it needs batteries in it's back, and BOTH of its feet. It took us a bit to figure out the feet thing.

After the first couple of days, this darling doll has not been played with. My 8 year old daughter will play with it occasionally, but it is not the doll of choice. The doll has a very hard, stiff body. She does not work well with everyday pretend play. When she is turned off, she is stuck in the position that she was in when you turned her off. Little Mommy Real Loving Baby is the Best!
The other woman on this site complaining probably didn't use Akeline batteries. It says right on the box and in the instructions to use Akeline batteries, not regular ones. My daughter has this doll and we absolutely love it! It has lasted over 1 month and we still have the same batteries!

Use Akeline and you'll be fine. This doll is amazing and worth every penny!

Battery hog!
Cute doll, kids love it but environment conscious parents better stay away. This doll chews battery for breakfast, lunch & dinner and it eats 'em 6 at a time.

Day 1: kids receive the doll, are delighted and play with it morning through evening (cute for sure).
Day 2: doll only speaks but can't move. Replace 4 batteries (2 in each leg) and it works all rights
Day 3: doll goes mum, replace 2 batteries at the back

Day 6: cycle 6 batteries again
Day 8: order a set of rechargeable batteries on ebay!

Personally, I dont see any educational value from the toy, its cute though but I definitely dislike the fact that it is such a power hog. Not to mention that it usually makes a snap sound occasionally when you lift the doll by her arms... as if you broke the thing!

My Son loves this toy!
First of all let me say Fisher Price did a good job on the commercial for this toy alone because my nine month old son stopped playing with his blocks on the floor to clap his hands and "talk" to the T.V when the commercial came on. It was hilarious. When we saw it in the store a few weeks later we let him play around with it a little bit and he was so enthusiastic that we broke down and bought it. I do think it was on the pricy side but he seems to really love it. He interacts with it all on his own. He likes the ball on the guitar the best. He kind of spins it and it plays a guitar "solo". The music is pleasant and not annoying like some baby toys, which seems to me to be standard with Fisher Price baby toys. He hasn't figured out how to use the microphone yet but I'm sure he will as he grows older. He can pull up on it; however I do wish the base were a tad bit studier. Overall, a pretty nice toy for an active baby and I'm pleased with it.

Enjoy the songs all the way through!
I was about to throw this toy out until I read a review that shared how to get it out of Demo mode. Now the songs play all the way through and my 18 mo old has much more interest in it. Under the front left leg, there is a button. Make sure the leg is pushed in as far as it will go flush and the songs should play in their entirty!
So fun!
My daughter received this toy for her first birthday about 3 weeks ago and it really has been the favorite. The toys that hang around the edges of it seem pretty useless but the toy over all is a blast. It's so funny to hear her talk in to the microphone, every time she's surprised by how noisy she sounds. She'll stand in front of this toy for minutes at a time hitting all the buttons and messing around. The music isn't even annoying, unlike a lot of baby toys, and the volume is reasonable enough that we can keep it in the TV room and still hear what we're watching. I'll be giving this toy as a gift to many babies in the future.

Its ok but could be better
I bought this for my 19 month old son.. he enjoys riding in it. but its a pain in the ass the way the buckle straps are! the wills dont pivite either with makes pulling and pushing it annoying!
